The Registry Testifies before Congress

The Climate Registry was invited to testify before the U.S. House of Representative’s Committee on Science and Technology’s Subcommittee on Energy and Environment in Washington, DC on Tuesday (2/24). Jill Gravender, our Vice President of Policy testified for The Registry. In our testimony Jill explained The Registry’s programs and discussed challenges and opportunities to improve the accuracy of GHG reporting.

The hearing went well, and was a terrific opportunity to increase The Registry’s visibility at the federal level in the U.S.

The Registry will continue to keep our Members informed on relevant federal policy issues, including the forthcoming release of US EPA’s mandatory rule for GHG reporting. Stay tuned!
