The Climate Registry is pleased to offer two upcoming opportunities to take our optional general verification training. The first training will be an in-person classroom training on May 20, 2010 (please see details below) and the second training will be by webinar on May 24, 2010 (please click here for details).

General Verification Training (in-person)

Important: The Climate Registry must have at least 10 registrants by April 20 to confirm this event. We will notify you when we have reached this threshold. Please refrain from arranging travel or hotel accommodations until you have received confirmation from us that the training will proceed.

Description:
The Climate Registry is pleased to offer this optional* general verification training in conjunction with our Southeast Climate Policy Forum in Atlanta. This registration fee for this half-day training is $250, which includes light refreshments and all training materials.

This general verification training will provide attendees with an overview of The Climate Registry’s reporting requirements, review The Registry’s expectations of verifiers, instill confidence in attendees to successfully conduct verification activities, and provide an understanding of the conflict of interest process and other administrative requirements of The Registry’s program. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to all attendees who pass the follow-up online test.

*Please note that The Registry no longer requires that Verifiers and Lead Verifiers attend designated Registry trainings. Verification Bodies are responsible for qualifying their verifiers, lead verifiers, independent peer reviewers in accordance with the requirements set forth in ISO 14065 and the IAF Mandatory Document for the Application of ISO 14065. A Certificate of Completion from this course may be used in conjunction with other criteria to support qualification of verifiers.

The Climate Registry is pleased to offer this optional* general verification training webinar. This registration fee for this half-day training is $250.

A binder including the presentation, exercises, and reference materials will be mailed to each participant (register by May 14 to ensure you receive hardcopy materials in advance of the webinar). A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to all attendees who pass the follow-up online test.
