Description: Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs are a new tool, created to help local governments support installation of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects on private property. These programs provide innovative financing instruments that require municipalities and private property owners to work together. In this webinar, panelists will give an overview of these PACE energy finance programs, which are one solution for governments to achieve energy conservation and greenhouse gas reduction goals while stimulating local economies. Panelists will also discuss how PACE programs can help finance renewable, energy efficiency or other similar retrofit improvements to private property, and create jobs. Join The Climate Registry and EcoAsset Solutions to learn more about what these programs are, and how to access these instruments. Participants may also earn 1 USGBC CE credit.
Panelists:
• John Wakefield, Senior Vice President, EcoAsset Solutions
• Pierce Jones, PhD, Program Director for Resource Efficient Communities, University of Florida
