Reporting Protocols
The Climate Registry’s protocols outline best practices in greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting and the reporting requirements of the voluntary reporting program. Each protocol is developed by achieving a consensus among industry, environmental and government stakeholders. Protocols must also go through a rigorous public comment period before being adopted.
