  • To qualify for Cool Planet Project benefits, the following conditions apply: Energy efficiency project(s) must be installed in SDG&E’s service
    territory. Energy efficiency project(s) must save at least 250,000 kWh or 10,000 therms annually. Energy efficiency project(s) must be
    completed through SDG&E’s non-residential energy efficiency programs. Multiple facilities under one corporate ownership can be
    aggregated to reach the required annual energy efficiency savings. Energy efficiency project(s) will receive the financial incentives offered
    by non-residential energy efficiency programs. Project funds will be disbursed on a first-come first-served basis until funds are depleted or
    the program ends (December 31, 2014). Cool Planet Project benefits will be disbursed after the energy efficiency project is installed and
    approved by the SDG&E Program Advisor. Energy efficiency projects installed and approved after January 1, 2010 are eligible to
    receive Cool Planet Project benefits. Upon receipt of Cool Planet Project benefits, customers are responsible for any fees associated with
    The Climate Registry and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) verification. The Climate Registry is available to provide assistance with the GHG verification
    process. The final kWh and therms project savings amount is the amount approved by SDG&E® upon post-installation inspection.

    complete in all respects and that the project(s) for which I am requesting incentive(s) meet the program requirements set forth in this
    application package. I understand and agree that I must meet all eligibility criteria in order to receive a payment under this program.

  • The Cool Planet Project is funded by California utility customers and administered by San Diego Gas & Electric® under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission, through
    a contract awarded to The Climate Registry. California customers who choose to participate in this program are not obligated to purchase any additional services offered by the
    contractor. SDG&E’s Energy Efficiency programs are funded by California utility customers and administered by San Diego Gas & Electric under the auspices of the California Public
    Utilities Commission. Rebates and incentives are provided on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are no longer available.
