Greenhouse Gas Accounting & Verification
The Climate Registry (TCR) developed and continues to maintain the guidance underpinning our reporting program. It is based on international standards and best practices and helps organizations across 30+ sectors accurately report and verify their corporate carbon footprint.
TCR is pleased to receive regular invitations to share our expertise and insights with key organizations around the world. To date, TCR has served as a key stakeholder in the development of GHG accounting and verification standards for many mandatory and voluntary programs. Some of these initiatives have included:

- Brazil GHG Protocol Program
We additionally hold ongoing advisory positions with a number of groups, including:
- U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO on Environmental Management (TAG 207)
- Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB)
- American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI’s) GHG Validation/Verification Body Accreditation Committee (GVAC)
